Though my first "official" visit was only an oil change and overall inspection just a few days ago on my Kia, I had stopped in once before several months ago because of a problem with my earlier model Subaru's car alarm going off at any given time day or night , while the car was just parked in my driveway. I had taken it to my (then) auto mechanic and he was not helpful as he could not fix it unless he saw it when it was happening. I made many calls and took it to another mechanic who was clueless . I was starting to dread my next step which was going to be to a dealer - dollar signs were inundating all of my waking moments! Before I took that last step, one day on the way to lunch with my husband, we passed Jeno's . Not being familiar with them personally, I remember having read positive reviews about the place so we decided to pop in and talk to them, hopefully them setting up an appointment so we could have this "conundrum" taken care of. Once hearing the story, Ashley at the front desk went in back to get one of the mechanics. He asked a couple questions and seemed to know exactly what was going on. Rather than setting us up for an appointment he asked if he could see the car. So we all went out , him taking a close look at everything . Within 3 minutes he knew what it was, fixed it and advised us a small piece to get from any auto body for a nominal price. We fell over with gratitude and asked what we owed him. He said " absolutely nothing"! I was so impressed with his friendliness, knowledge and professionalism. This may have not been a big deal to some people, but the fact that I had the car looked at by other mechanics and spoke on the phone to even more, was pretty awesome! Needless to say, this was and will be the only place we take our cars in the future!
